Meet The Founder
Lady Shelia A. Bryant is a shepherdess, teacher, mentor, philanthropist and community advocate; a lady of many responsibilities. Lady Bryant is a familiar face in Tipton County and is the mother of four; as well as the grandmother of two. Lady Bryant has served the community as a employee with Tipton County local Government for 26 years, as well as the shepherdess of Paradise Church Ministries since 2012, after laboring as co-pastor for two years under the late Rev. Jerry L. Alston.
She was born and raised in Covington, TN, graduating from Covington High School in 1987 and Dyersburg State Community College with an Associate Degree in Accounting in 1997. Lady Bryant’s years in ministry have groomed her for walking in leadership while teaching bible study and being a youth advisor. Being led by the holy spirit, she stepped out on faith and attended the Union Peace Association, obtaining certification as a Christian teacher after completing four phases. Lady Bryant is a certified life coach through I Dream University.
In January 2017, Lady Bryant founded and chaired Phenomenal Woman That’s Me Inc. women’s ministry. Phenomenal Woman provides life skills and support services to women from all walks of life. This ministry continues to grow as it travels throughout the county and across the state with conferences for women and the men who support them. Lady Bryant exhibits ultimate stewardship through service and outreach in and around the community. She assists with an annual Children’s Community Carnival, which partners with many service agencies throughout the county and workshops to the community.
